Two new hotly anticipated games from developers Playfish and Zynga are set to hit Facebook sometime this week. Sticking to the city theme, Playfish is set to release Hotel City, which is a hotel management game where players can customize and run 5 star hotels. Playfish has stated that this will be their most customizable game to date.
The other is Poker Blitz by Zynga, a simpler and odder version of their popular Zynga Texas Holdem Poker application that lets players gamble with facebook poker chips or myspace poker chips (depending on the social network they play from). Poker Blitz is claiming to be a “poker game for the masses” that has more of an arcade game feel than the existing texas holgam game and allows players to switch cards and use power ups in the game.
